As a member of a college university, your first and upmost prioroity is your scholastic career.  Pi Kappa Alpha stresses that to all of it's new and active members.  In following with those ideals, your college G.P.A. is very important in the fraternity.  Without a decent G.P.A., you are not allowed a little brother, to hold executive offices, or possibly even important chairman positions.

In addition, our chapter currently has two separate scholarships offered each semester to be the equivalent of one semester's dues ($250):

Best Active Scholarship, also known as the Glenn Stranahan Scholarship, was started by Pi Kappa Alpha Alumnus member, Lane Clark.  This award is voted upon by the active members of the fraternity and given to the active member who put the most work, dedication, and heart into the fraternity while still being able to maintain a respectable G.P.A.  The winners, in order, have been as follows:

1. Blais William Case
2. Matthew Chase Cates

Best Pledge Scholarship was started by Pi Kappa Alpha alumnus member, Scott Bratcher.  This award is also voted upon by the active members of the fraternity and given to the pledge of that semester who put in the most work, dedication, and heart into the fraternity while maintaining a respectable G.P.A.  The winners, in order, have been as follows:

1. Alfredo Becerra

Both awards are highly respected and sought after in the fraternity.  It is an honor to be considered one of the hardest working members of the fraternity by being nominated alone.
